Shema
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One!
Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (resources).
We've lost many truths over the years because "Israel" has lost her identity and doesn't know who she is.
Today the term "Jew" is a general term referring to the Jews and Judaism. It does not however, include all of Israel or what is truly Torah and Biblical Worship of Yahushua, the Son of God.
Todays Jews are dominately false Kazaar Jews, not bloodline Jews but those who adopted the Jewish religion hundreds of years ago. Today's Judaism is dominated by Zionism, a Satanic form of worship that uses the Talmud and Talmud Law and not the Torah alone (see http://www.thewatcherfiles.com/torahvstalmud.htm) and yet most of them claim to be the original Israelites (see Rev. 3:5). They are not.
Yes, there is a faction of true "Israelites" in Israel who study and worship the Torah and Bible, but they are persecuted by the Zionist Talmudist's who control the politics and public religion of Israel.
This article is not meant to be a expose on the fake Jews in Israel, or the Satanic Talmud or the persecution of Yahuah's real people and followers, but a call to return to the Shema.
One of the most beautiful and dominant prayers of Israel's history. In fact it shouldn't' just be history, but here in the present as well. And that's why He has me writing this article.
As I sit and work on Bible Codes, or I'm busy researching one thing or another Yahuah leads me to..I often feel and hear the words of Shema shouting and reverberating through my spirit. And so I feel led to write this article and urge Yah's people to return to reciting the Shema.
Shema Yisrael -- "Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One" -- is perhaps the most famous of all Jewish - Israelite sayings.
The Shema is a declaration of faith, a Pledge of Allegiance to One God. It is a religious commandment called a mitzvah in Hebrew and it is considered as the most important prayer in Judaism/Israel. We are commanded to say Shema twice each day, once in the morning when you wake up and at night before you go to sleep (Deut. 6:7). It is also to be said when praising God and when beseeching Him. In Israel it is said that it is the first prayer a child is taught to say. It is also to be the last words that one is to say prior to death.
The Prayer is comprised of three parts found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21 and Numbers 15:37-41:
This is the Shema shortened version I often repeat to myself..and the version to be repeated twice a day. The first passage is called the Shema while the other two have different names.
Shema
Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One. (the Lord alone).
Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
This is the Full Shema Yisrael Version: The first part is called the Shema, with the other two parts called the Vehaya (second passage) and the Vaiyomer (third passage).
Shema : The First Passage - A primary theme of the first passage is the Oneness of God:
Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is One.(Deut. 6:4).
Blessed is the Name of His glorious kingdom for all eternity.
You shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your resources. Let these matters that I command you today be upon your heart. Teach them thoroughly to your children and speak of them while you sit in your home, while you walk on the way, when you retire and when you arise. Bind them as a sign upon your arm and let them be tefillin between your eyes. And write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates. (Deut. 6:5-9)
Vehayah: The Second Passage = speaks about the positive consequences of fulfilling the mitzvot (religious commandment), and the negative consequences of not.
And it will come to pass that if you continually hearken to My mitzvot (commandment) that I command you today, to love the Lord your God, and to serve Him, with all your heart and with all your soul -- then I will provide rain for your land in its proper time, the early and late rains, that you may gather in your grain, your wine, and your oil. I will provide grass in your field for your cattle and you will eat and be satisfied.
Beware lest your heart be seduced and you turn astray and serve gods of others and bow to them. Then the wrath of God will blaze against you. He will restrain the heaven so there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its produce. And you will swiftly be banished from the goodly land which God gives you.
Place these words of Mine upon your heart and upon your soul; bind them for a sign upon your arm and let them be tefillin between your eyes. Teach them to your children, to discuss them, while you sit in your home, while you walk on your way, when you retire and when you arise. And write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates. In order to prolong your days and the days of your children upon the ground that God has sworn to your ancestors to give them, like the days of the heaven on the earth. (Deut. 11:13-21)
Vaiyomer: The Third Passage
And God said to Moses saying: Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them that they are to make themselves tzitzit on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations. And they are to place upon the tzitzit of each corner a thread of blue (techelet). And it shall constitute tzitzit for you, that you may see it and remember all the mitzvot of God and perform them; and not explore after your heart and after your eyes after which you stray. So that you may remember and perform all My mitzvot; and be holy to your God. I am God, your God, Who has removed you from the land of Egypt to be a God to you. I am God your God... it is true

The_Shema/Complete/complete.html
According to the Jewish Encyclopedia Shema is the Initial word of the verse, or chapter, recited as the confession of the Jewish faith. Originally, the "Shema'" consisted only of the one verse, Deut. vi. 4 the regular "Shema'" in the liturgy, however, consists of three portions: Deut. vi. 4-9, xi. 13-21, and Num. xv. 37-41. The first verse, "Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord," has ever been regarded as the confession of belief in the One God.
The first of the three portions of the "Shema'" contains the command to love God with heart, soul, and might; to remember all commandments and instruct the children therein; to recite the words of God when retiring or rising; to bind those words on the arm and the head, and to inscribe them on the door-posts and on the city gates.
The second portion contains the promise of reward for the fulfilment of the laws, and the threat of punishment for their transgression, with a repetition of the contents of the first portion.
The third portion contains the law concerning the ẓiẓit, as a reminder that all the laws of God are to be obeyed, as a warning against following the evil inclinations of the heart, and, finally, in remembrance of the exodus from Egypt. The commandment to read the "Shema'", twice daily is ascribed by Josephus to Moses ("Ant." iv. 8), and it has always been regarded as a divine commandment http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp?artid=599&letter=S
and Wikipedia:
Shema Yisrael (or Sh'ma Yisroel or just Shema) (Hebrew: שמע ישראל; "Hear, [O] Israel") are the first two words of a section of the Torah (Hebrew Bible) that is used as a centerpiece of all morning and evening Jewish prayer services and closely echoes the monotheistic message of Judaism. It is considered the most important prayer in Judaism, and its twice-daily recitation is a mitzvah (religious commandment).
Shema is one of the sentences that are quoted in the New Testament. The Gospel of Mark 12:29 mentions that Jesus considered the Shema the beginning exhortation of the first of his two greatest commandments: "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, 'Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord'" (KJV). Jesus also refers to the Shema in The Gospel of John 10:30. A group of Jews in the Temple in Jerusalem at the Feast of Dedication, or Hanukkah, asks him if he is Messiah, the anointed one of God. Jesus concludes his response with the words "I and my Father are one" (KJV). This is an allusion to the Shema, which the Jews immediately recognize.
Who is Israel? Those who Love HIM and Keep HIS Commandments.
The Israel of today is NOT about BLOODLINES BUT ABOUT WORSHIPPING HIM AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF YAHUSHUA THE SON OF GOD AS YOUR MESSIAH and Keeping His Commandments.
THAT IS THE ISRAEL OF TODAY!!
Those who have accepted His redemption and keep His Commandments are HIS people. It's not about bloodlines, race, country, or the color of your skin. It's about your love for Him and living for Him that makes you one of His.
Yahushua said, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven" Matthew 10:32 and in I John 4:15 it says, "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."
"Jesus" is the Greek mis-translation of the name Yahushua. Purposeful mistranslation? I think so. But either way, His real name is Yahushua and that's what I call Him. Some of you may want to reconsider Acts 4:12. If there is no other name under heaven which we can be saved by, then don't you think you should get His Name straight?
If you have never accepted Him as your messiah then please visit http://www.sherryshriner.com/salvation.htm now! Don't wait another day. Time is short. If you're on the 'fence' then get off of it. Time is short. Renew your faith and allegiance in the Most High while you still have time to lay up for yourself treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19,20).
Yahushua spoke to the people in parables. In these verses he likens people symbolically to "trees."
Mat 3:10
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:17
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 12:33
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [his] fruit.
Seek and ask Him to teach you the truth in all things and to teach you how to hear His voice in your spirit. He doesn't speak to your head. If you hear voices in your head it is NOT Him. Ask Him these things every day! By doing so you will learn how to walk with Him and build a relationship with HIM.
Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One!
Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (resources).
Israel was commanded to recite this twice a day...and today that's Us!
Write it down until you memorize it.
